Holding a coffee morning in aid of Blackrock Hospice was very enjoyable. It was my opportunity to take part in a good cause, while having fun and also gaining new skills. With the help of my fellow class mates we began by finding sponsors for our coffee morning.
It was like being on Dragons' Den. We asked for their support and the local shops were very generous.
I was excited and nervous about how the coffee morning would turn out. It was certainly an occasion which I will remember. The best bit was interacting with the local shop employees and managers, and with the teachers during the coffee morning. It was great to see the generosity of others first hand.
We raised over €200, which everyone was thrilled with. Overall the coffee morning was a great success thanks to everyone who helped and donated.
