I volunteered to collect sort and bag clothes for Syrian refugees. When I arrived in the school reception where the bags were dropped I saw a pile of thirty bags and thought this shouldn't be too hard. But as more and more bags came in from very generous donors the pile grew and grew.
At first we were unorganised and didn't really have a system but after three hours or so we had a great system set up and were sorting, folding, and bagging like a well-oiled machine. And we were bagging everything even faster with the help of Mrs.Nolan, Mrs. Brophy (2 of the TY mums) and Mr.Ferguson.
When we finished the bagging we moved the bags to the hall and left them there to be
collected the following morning.
