Straight away we were on the bus heading into the town. Our first stop was the Arc de Triomphe which was an incredible sight; we had the option to go up to the top of it to see the view of Paris but decided against it due to the fact that our next stop was the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived at the Eiffel Tower I couldn’t quite believe it, let’s just say it seems a lot smaller in the pictures! Nonetheless I was determined to reach the top and face my fears; I was brave enough to survive a near nervous breakdown at the end of the line and also just surviving the fictional stories from all my friends about the very many the people who had tragically lost their lives plummeting to the base of the tower. I had bought my ticket and was proceeding to the lift having lost one member of our group because he just got a little too scared of it all after queuing up for so long. I was standing waiting for the lift, trembling with fear. I made it all the way to the top with my jelly-legs and proud friends.
We then checked into our hotel and went out for dinner to eat some very nice pizzas. Day two was also very good we had made our way to some museum, it was ok. The highlight of that day had to be the mime that we all took photos with, he tried to get a kiss from everyone who went by. We then headed to the palace of Versailles which was very good.
The next day was our last. We headed to the Louvre, obviously famous for the Mona Lisa, the world’s greatest let down, it is surrounded by bomb proof glass and you must stay 5 or 6 meters away from it, you can’t actually see it in any great detail. We dined in Flunch yet again but no one bought any food and so headed to Macy D’s instead!
The next morning we rose early and headed for Euro Disney, the highlight of the trip! I went on space mountain 6 times because it was certainly the best ride in the park, and so then came the end of our trip, I had a fantastic time with the lads and the teachers. I would certainly do it again.

That night we had our first experience of the magic of FLUNCH. Most people were quite confused by what meat they actually ordered and I think most were surprised by what they got!! We then went to the spectacular church at the top of Montmarte and got to see the city lit up at night.
The next day we went straight to the louvre which was very good but so big it was near impossible to find anything. At least I got to see the Mona Lisa and see what all the fuss was about. We then got back on the bus and headed for the boat trip which was good craic too. We got to see some cool stuff including the Statue of Liberty. From there we went to La Defense to get lunch and do some shopping, while there we got to see Paris's latest arc, the metal one, which was very cool. Later on that evening we decided to do nothing seeing as it was our last night so we just relaxed in the hotel which was a well needed break.
The next morning we got up packed checked out and headed for Disneyland. Everyone was pretty excited about Disneyland. It really was a great end to a great trip.
