the end of it but it was worth it.
After the swim, we walked along a long path that led to the foot of the mountain. The way up
went in loops around the mountain. During the walk up my calves were killing me and I was
praying we'd reach the peak quickly.
Eventually, we arrived at the mountain top. The view was magnificent. You could see all of Bray
and out to sea. The boats looked like small dots on the water.
We stayed there for a while, taking in the views. Later we started walking again down towards
the cross. This walk wasn't as tiring as the last. The egg counting took place and sadly my team
didn't win. At the cross, there also was some scenic views however I didn't really care about that
since my mind was only on the food.
Soon we arrived in Bray town where we had burgers and chips. We also treated ourselves
to a cold ice cream afterwards. It was a relaxing way to end a great day out. All in all it was an
excellent first day out for us
told that if we keep our eggs and stop them from getting cracked for the whole trip we would get free
chips at the end. We were allowed to crack other people's eggs. There were fatalities all the way through the trip as people sought to destroy the opposition's eggs. Mine was slapped from my hand and ruthlessly stamped on and destroyed.
Eventually after climbing up a steep hill our eggs were counted to see which team won the egg competition. Each egg had a different colour on it and each colour represented a different team. I was surprised at the amount of eggs that had survived. In the end the plain team won but everyone got chips.
After we finished our walk we arrived at the beach in Bray and everyone got chips and burgers at one
of the local chippers. We ate our chips and burgers while sitting on a wall at the beach and throwing
rocks at a lone bag in the middle of the beach.
